TONY DONG
Tony Dong is a Singapore-based violinist, Irish fiddler, music producer, and educator whose work bridges classical performance, Celtic folk traditions, and contemporary electronic music.
Beginning violin studies at the age of four, Tony trained at the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA) before graduating from Singapore Management University.
He has obtained ABRSM Grade 8 distinction in violin & IB Diploma in Music. His artistic practice spans concert performance, music production, dance collaborations, and education. He busked in 13 different countries across Europe and Singapore.
In 2026, Tony became a finalist in the Senior All-Ireland Fiddle Competition (Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann), representing Singapore on one of the world’s most prestigious traditional music stages.
His performances have been held at venues including Victoria Concert Hall, The Japanese Association, The Irish Club Singapore, and at festivals and weddings across Singapore, Vienna, and beyond.
As an educator with over eight years of teaching experience, Tony specializes in helping students develop strong technical foundations while fostering creativity and musical confidence.
