Chong Jia Min
Ms Jia Min started her music studies at 4.5 years old in Singapore. She progressed through the ABRSM graded studies with Distinction and has achieved ATCL in 2003. Since young she has performed in school musicals, concerts and now she is retracing her passion back into the music arena. She believes that music ignites a catalyst on a child’s personal and cognitive development and learning can be fun. Hence AMS is the perfect place for her to help young artists explore their fullest potential.
Jia Min is a promising pianist with a solid performance repertoire: Beethoven 5th Piano Concerto “Emperor”, Liszt Consolation No 2, Chopin Nocturne Op 9 No 2, Mozart Sonata in G KV283, Debussy Arabesque No. 1, Brahms intermezzo Op118 No 2, Fauré Nocturne No 4 Op 36, Bach Prelude and Fugue in C-sharp, etc.
With her wide range and rich performance program, Jia Min’s students benefited with her diversified yet authentic interpretation in all major classical repertoires.
