EXPERIENCE
THE WESTERN UNION BAND Founder and Band leader| 1971 – 1981
- Four-piece band signed under EMI Recording Artiste
- No. 1 Billboard Hits in Malaysia with the singles “Sausolito” and “I’ve Found my Freedom” (1972), along with other top 10 hits in Singapore
- Global performance exposure across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand in 5 star hotels such as Mandarin, Shangri-La, Hilton and top night clubs such as Campbell (Malaysia).
ABEL GAN COMBO Performer and Band Agent| 1981 – 1995
- Performed at Tanglin Club, Excelsior Hotel, Ambassador Hotel, private functions and country clubs
- Band agent for Filipino, American, Malaysian bands for contract in Singapore hotels (1986)
- Solo piano vocalist playing at hotels and restaurants: Marriott, Mandarin Orchard, Peninsula, and Shimo (1992- 1994)
