Lee Hayoung
Hayoung Lee is a dedicated pianist and educator based in Singapore. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Texas State University, where she studied with Dr. Jason Kwak and received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. She also earned a Bachelor of Education in Piano Pedagogy with First Class Honours from the Royal College of Music, London, in partnership with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore.
Hayoung’s teaching blends pedagogical research with artistic insight to help students build healthy technique, develop strong rhythmic skills, and improve finger independence through mindful, somatic approaches. She has demonstrated experience teaching students of all ages and levels, from young beginners to university music majors, and has coordinated community outreach programs like the FunKey Piano Project in Texas.
As a collaborative pianist, Hayoung has appeared frequently alongside vocalists, choirs, and instrumentalists across Singapore, the UK, and the US. In 2025, she made her concerto debut with the Texas State Symphony Orchestra, performing Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2.
